What to expect

Classes

Each class is designed to be fun yet informative. The classes will be hands-on and despite your age and ability in the kitchen you are sure to come away with some new skills and full of inspiration to take them home to impress friends and family.

You will be greeted on arrival and looked after until you leave.

We will be using, promoting and encouraging all our guests to use local produce wherever possible. All our meat, fruit and veg is obtained from Turnbull's of Alnwick, our fish from Swallowfish in Seahouses and we grow our own herbs!

We have 8 workstations all fully equipped. You have your own oven, hob and equipment which means there is no waiting around for others to finish and you can work at your own pace. We have sourced our equipment locally and you can find most of the utensils, pots, pans and dishes in House and Home in Alnwick town centre.

It isn’t our intention to send you home with a diploma in kitchen skills but it is our aim to send you away with new skills and an appetite to get creative in your own kitchen as well as enjoying a great experience in a happy, fun and relaxed environment at Outcook.

Parking

Parking is situated behind The Alnwick Playhouse. Aproaching the town centre from the South, turn right at the Bondgate Tower and there are several car parks in Greenwell Lane. To park all day costs £2. If you are approaching the town centre from the North you will need to go through the Bondgate Tower and immediately turn left before The Alnwick Playhouse.

Outcook is a very short walk from here. We are just across the road opposite The Alnwick Playhouse.

We will let you know what you will need to bring with you when you confirm the class but the most important thing to remember is yourself!
